Steve Carter Tutoring Program

The LDOE's Steve Carter Tutoring Program supports eligible K-12 grade students with Literacy or Math tutoring. Tutors can work with students individually or in small groups after school. Canopy Tutoring is an approved provider for the Steve Carter Tutoring Program.

Tutor Requirements:

One of the following:

  • Teaching Certificate, Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, Paraprofessional at a Louisiana Public School,

AND

  • Specific training required by LDOE
